When you are installing a new convertible top, inspect the tacking strip of
the front bow,
rear bow and rear tack rail. Usually the original treated paper
material is rotted away and
won't hold a tack or screw. Our modern replacement
material is made of a hard, flexible
rubber which can be sanded or filed to
shape and will retain screws, tacks and staples,
It will last virtually
forever.
Two sizes are available. Type R on is usually in the rear,  Type F in the front. 10 foot Piece $28.00.
