Bendix Treadle Vac Kit, 1957 - 1957 Buick

Many cars of the 1950’s used what is call a Bendix Treadle Vac Unit as the power source/master cylinder in cars equipped with power brakes. As the years have passed rebuilding parts have become harder to source. We has seen the need and has reproduced many of the parts that commonly fail in these units and paired them together into one affordable kit. Our kit will rebuild the fluid section of the unit. We also available the leather piston cup for the vacuum section and the stainless steel piston. The originals were made of steel and would pit, tearing the seal between the fluid and vacuum section of the unit, causing the majority of failures. When possible we make improvements to the parts we reproduce to ensure many mile of happy and care free motoring.
