Q: Kit Policy

  1. The components within a kit are sold together at an attractive price, and customers cannot be issued a credit for the return of individual components which were sold as part of a kit.
  2. Similar situations would be overhaul kits, power brake kits, tune-up kits, carburetor kits, engine kits, top kits, etc.
  3. Incorrect parts may be returned for exchange, of course, and we will rectify any errors as quickly as possible.

Q: Foreign Shipments Including Canada

Post Office Surface, Post Office Air Mail and UPS Surface Canada

A 5% Foreign documentation charge ($6 minimum, $40 maximum) plus the actual charges for Air or Surface are added to each order.

Shipping charges must be paid in advance. Please inquire for estimated charges. The customer is responsible for duties and taxes upon delivery.

It is very important that you include your telephone number on all orders to assure delivery.

International orders shipped via Post Office add $25.00 surcharge.

  1. All returns or exchanges must be authorized by Customer Service before sending product back. Call Us - We are here to help.
  2. Items can be returned within 30 days from the date of receipt for exchange or refund. No refunds after 30 days. If through our error we supply the incorrect part for your car you may exchange it for the correct part at any time.
  3. All returned items must be unused and in resalable condition.
  4. Return the item to us postpaid.
  5. You must include a copy of your invoice with a complete explanation of the problem.

Q: Back Orders

We do our best to supply all items listed in our catalog, although availability is sometimes affected by scarcity or long lead times in manufacturing.

If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will backorder it (B/O will be noted on the invoice) and ship it as soon as we have it available.

It is difficult to give an exact time of availability, since we are dependent on our suppliers or other sources.

You may cancel any backordered items at any time by calling our toll free number.

Orders are shipped by UPS Air or Federal Express, additional charges will be applied.

Q: Air Freight Prepaid

Duties and taxes are paid by you upon delivery.

Air freight charges must be prepaid.

We cannot ship exhaust systems or cut pile carpets by Post Office.

Some foreign shipments may have to go by dimensional weight.

Credit Card

If you pay by charge card, your account is charged just before shipping on in-stock items.

Custom Made - Special Orders

Custom made and special-order items are charged to your account when the order is taken.

Payment is required in advance is required on these items.


You may mail your order with a bank check, money order or a personal check.

Checks will be held for clearance before an item is shipped.


C.O.D shipments may be paid with a money order or bank check only. C.O.D. fee is $10.00.

Foreign Orders

Pay by Mastercard or VISA, or send a check in U.S. dollars, payable on a New York bank.

If you pay by a bank transfer (payable to our bank) add $25.00 to cover our bank fee (see foreign order form).

Kanter Auto Products will repair, replace, or adjust any defective itemor refund the purchase amount at our option.

Q: What is Not Covered

This Warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, abuse, mishandling or accidents; or normal wear.

Kanter Auto Products will not be responsible for labor charges, inconveniences, any other expenses and incidental or consequential damages caused by the item.


Q: This warranty is in lieu of any other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties for merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

All terms, Policies and Warranties are as stated and will not be waived or altered except by written authorization from Kanter Auto Products - no exceptions.

Q: How State Law Applies

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Q: How long the Coverage lasts

This Warranty covers the item for as long as you own your car. Coverage is terminated if you sell or otherwise transfer ownership of the car.
