Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit
This kit contains all the parts you need to convert your 1988-99 GM ½ ton 2WD pickups from drum to disc brakes. Manufactured from quality materials, these rear conversion kits are designed to bolt directly onto your stock axle and provide you with the performance and durability you expect from a modern brake system.
Kit Includes:
- NEW Single piston red powder coated calipers with built-in parking brake
- High volume "firm feel" master cylinder for increased performance
- Adapters that allow you to re-use the factory parking brake cables
- DOT Flex hoses, axle shims and new steel hard lines
- Semi-metallic brake pads - D347
- Stainless steel shim washers to center the caliper assembly
- Two 11.5" diameter heavy duty vented rotors
- E-coated mounting brackets
- All installation hardware
- Simple instructions for bolt-on installation
Application:
- 1988-99 Chevrolet C1500 Pickup
- 1988-99 GMC C1500 Pickup
Notes:
- Truck must have 10" drum brakes. Will not fit if truck has 11" drum brakes.
- Fits on stock rear axles
