- Fitment Notes: Covers 1947 1st series "Advance Design" pickups through 1955 pickups, and accommodates both pickup and suburban models. Steering column connectors plug directly into most aftermarket steering columns as well as 1969 and later GM columns using stock GM turn signal switches, and the original column can be wired using the supplied mating connector and terminals
