• Fitment Notes: Engine-specific applications: the 429 cid V8 applies to 1971 models only, and the 400 cid and 460 cid V8s apply to 1973 Mercury Cougar only. The 250 cid L6 and 302 cid V8 apply to the Mustang, and the 351 cid V8 fits both the Mustang and Cougar for 1971–1973.
