These brand new 24:1 manual steering boxes are made to fit and function like original and come pre-greased and ready to install. In the past you either had the choice to remove your old worn out box and send it to the re-builder, creating loss of shop space and time. Or the other option would be to purchase a rebuilt unit, but that too had its drawbacks as you now have a core charge that is incurred until you send your old steering box in. When buying a steering box from PST there is no downtime, no core charges and a lifetime limited warranty on the product for as long as you own your muscle car.
